Sewer Scopes are highly recommended on all homes connected to the public sewer system. Home owners are usually responsible for the line from the home to the sewer tap. This can be one of the most expensive repairs a home owner will endure if anything goes wrong.
The sewer scope service involves a camera inserted into the sewer line though an easily accessible point (toilets will not be removed for this service.) A video is captured of this process. Types of materials used and any defects found will be noted in a report as well as an unlisted YouTube link of the video.
At this time, this service is discounted to $210 if performed during the home inspection. Not offered as a stand alone service
